A shared workshop offering space and equipment for creating meaningful things was born because I and the people around me lacked such a place in Olomouc.
Our Mission
FABRICKA in Olomouc creates space for anyone with ideas and a desire to create, but who lacks the space or professional equipment. Here, you can easily rent everything you need. And we’re happy to help and advise you.
For larger projects, you’ll need to bring your own materials, but otherwise, you can use offcuts and leftover materials available here. We offer public workshops for wood and metal work, a studio, and a digital FABlab with 3D printers and a laser cutter.
The entire project is built on the idea of RE-USE and upcycling. We rescue old materials and turn them into new creations. We organize both experiential and educational courses and promote craftsmanship.
We Create a Space for Creativity
We operate two fully equipped woodworking workshops and one large metalworking workshop. They include all necessary machines and hand tools for standard carpentry, wood carving, and welding work.
Open to anyone wanting to work with leather, textiles, or paints. They offer a space to carry out your own projects and explore various graphic and artistic techniques—from linocut to oil painting.
A digital workshop full of modern technologies. Available to you are 3D printers, a cutting and engraving laser, and soldering equipment for working with electronics.
In front of the building, several raised beds are available for anyone interested in growing their own vegetables and herbs.
The space includes several rehearsal rooms for musicians and bands of all genres. Depending on availability, they can be rented long-term or for one-off sessions.
